The Power Pup Downloader is a programmer/tuner that downloads horsepower and performance enhancing programs into '03-'06 Dodge Ram Hemi 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks with 5.7L V8 engines. The downloader offers two different engine tunes above stock to accommodate various driving conditions.
The Dodge Hemi Power Pup also included these additional features: Transmission Shift Points, Speed Limiter Adjustment and Reading and Erasing Diagnostic Trouble Codes. All operations take place inside the cab with the Power Pup hooked up to the OBDII port.

The Power Pup Downloader is a programmer/tuner that downloads horsepower and performance enhancing programs into '04-'07 Ford F-150s with either 4.6L or 5.4L V8 engines. The downloader offers two different engine tunes above stock to accommodate various driving conditions.
The Ford Power Pup also included these additional features: Transmission Tuning, Transmission Shift Points, Speed Limiter Adjustment and Reading and Erasing Diagnostic Trouble Codes. All operations take place inside the cab with the Power Pup hooked up to the OBDII port.
Stock Tune: Choosing the Stock Engine Tune will result in no change to engine horsepower output, but all other downloader features are available.
Bully Dog performance for your gasoline powered GM truck The Power Pup Downloader for all '99-'06 full size GM vehicles with any of the following engines: 4.3, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 and 8.1 Liter. The Power Pup Downloader is a very simple instrument to operate. All operations take place inside the cab with the Power Pup hooked up to the OBDII port.
Remember to always keep the Downloader in your vehicle after you have downloaded a power program. You may need to change the power program or check and erase Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
The power program must always be removed before taking the vehicle in for any kind of service, as it may interfere with diagnostic tools used by your dealer.
Regular Tune: The Regular Engine Tune is recommended for use with 85 or 87 octane gasoline. For maximum effectiveness end users should increase shift firmness and shift points. This tune can be used for everyday driving and towing.
Premium Tune: The Premium Engine Tune is recommended for use with 91 or 93 octane gasoline. Again increases in shift firmness and shift points are recommended with this tune. This tune can be used for everyday driving and off highway racing.
